WRT your resolution on cooking more, my wife and I also enjoy to cook, and one resource that we use consistently is America's Test Kitchen. They try to find the optimal way to cook both American classics as well as other dishes and the results continue to impress me. Besides the web site, they have a show on PBS. Their cookbooks and DVD sets are also extremely affordable.

Thanks for the link to my blog. You and the Four Hour Trial definitely have a head start on me, but I am committed to catching up!

The timing of this post is very appropriate. While I usually feel that "new year's resolutions" are a little cliche, they make a lot more sense given the timing of the book and the nature of this blog. For me, the big two resolutions will to outsource the 80% of my work that contributes 20% of the value, and to market some kind of product. I am eager to share my failures and successes along the way!

Best regards for the new year!
