Figuring out how to do a lot of things more efficiently is like wanting to work for yourself, rather than owning the business.

Think differently.  Avoid the issue, go around it, deflect it, ignore it, turn around... do whatever you can to get out of doing it in the first place.

I think it&#039;s terribly important to always be in this frame of mind:  think not only about what you have to do, but WHY you&#039;re having to do it.  If you don&#039;t have to do it, don&#039;t.  Be proactive and assertive.  Always think: &quot;My time on earth is limited.  Do I want to use up X minutes of that irretrievable time sorting my inbox?&quot;  I&#039;d rather spend 30 minutes coming up with the auto response that can&#039;t be argued with and can&#039;t be taken the wrong way.  3/4ths of your email will disappear and you&#039;ve saved yourself hours of time wasting each week.</description>
